Japan - Day 7

We took the ferry over to Mt. Nokogiri
On Day 7 we began the day with Chloe dropping a glass table top on her foot.  We thought she was fine so we pressed on with our plans to go to Nokogiri.  Mt Nokogiri is this amazing mountain that has over 1,500 stone Buddha's carved on it.  You climb all over these trails and around each corner is a nook filled with this figurines, it was amazing but, it was a ton climbing and well we quickly figured out something was up with Chloe's foot because she couldn't put weight on it properly.

That is Mt Nokogiri from the ferry

A local temple on the way to the tram

Tram to the top so we can get our hike on

Those little specs in front are Chloe and I

Chloe and Doug climbing some steps before we decided we had to carry her

The Largest Statue of the Buddha Daibutsu in Japan (who knew and super cool)

You might not be able to see but I am carrying Chloe up the stairs, look towards the top of the stairs

Can you see all the statues/figurines carved on the right side of the picture?

Chloe getting a lift and Mama getting a much needed work out

Poor Chloe was so tired that she crashed in the stroller and we managed to keep it tipped so she could sleep on the train.

By part way through our hiking all over Nokogiri we figured out that we needed to take Chloe to the Doctor so, when we got back to base we took her to the base Hospital.  As you can see she ended up with a walking cast.  Bummer but it turned out she was able to get rid of it 3 days later.
