It's My Birthday, gonna party....

Chloe's Birthday: The day began with her seeing the house all decorated for her party, she loved looking at all of the streamers and balloons. And as you can see at the bottom she even got to enjoy a few balloons before they went outside. Then Grams and Gramps or as Chloe has dubbed them: Nana and Nano gave her the little push toy you see my mom and I pushing with her in the pics below. Yes, they had to take turns walking with her too, it is back breaking. In the late morning Chloe had a few friends over for a playdate and party, it was great fun. There were 5 kids in total and she seemed to really enjoy it. And at the end of the day you can see Nano got to read her a story, she was exhausted.

Halloween VT

Chloe and her cousins before heading out to Trick o Treat.

Chloe trying to figure out where all the leaves came from. We had a great time in VT and she loved playing in the leaves.

We did manage to get one picture with the Pooh head on, but she didn't care for it much, so the rest of the evening she wore it down.

Chloe with her Aunt

Well we had a great time in VT with Aunt Reyna and the Cousins. I will post more pictures of Bridget, Joe and Chloe soon but, I had to get this up. Chloe's Aunt Reyna worked very hard to teach Chloe to wave and, as you can see from the video evidence it worked, :). Chloe can now wave and clap. Yes, in less than one week with her Aunt she learned to wave and clap, impressive. Can you say: Good Mom (Yep, my sis is a super mom). This by the way made for a great trip home, Chloe strolled through all of the Airports waving to her people and they were for the most part happy to reciprocate with waves, smiles, clapping and sweet baby comments.

Pumpkin Patch

Family outing to the Pumpkin Patch. As you can see Doug found himself two pumpkins, Chloe got a ride and we all had a seat for a family picture. Great time. There was a train ride too and boy did Chloe enjoy that, who knew she would like trains so much, we will have to tell her cousin Joe about that.

Chloe September 08

On the Left: Chloe all dolled up for a party and playing with her bear. On the Right: Chloe in Miss Stephanie's flowers. Couldn't resist putting her in the bed of flowers, they are amazing so thought we should plop Chloe in them, isn't that what everyone does when they see nice flowers, ha/ha.

Chloe Walking

Well our little Chloe is trying to walk. She is getting to be such a big girl. She will pull herself up on just about anything, she can climb up the stairs, she can lower herself off of a bed. In short the kid is amazing (not biased at all, :)). She says Hi sometimes and Daddy sometimes, but only Mamamama and usually when she is upset, I know that isn't right at all, ha/ha. Anyway thought you all might like to see the little lady doing her best to walk.

Chloe Aug 2008

Chloe and I playing. I was trying a new setting on the camera. If we don't run in the afternoon we usually spend it in the sunroom, reading books, playing with toys, swinging, sliding, and of course singing and dancing. She is at such a great age right now.

Chloe on her new Swing

Doug hung up a swing out front for Chloe today. Boy does she ever love it. She makes the funniest growling sound when he pushes her, it is hillarious. All are welcome to drop by and see if you too can get her to growl, ha/ha.

Chloe and Bridget

Chloe and I headed up to VT in August and boy do her cousins love her. She gets a lot of attention and had a great time. She loved playing in their yard and Joe and Bridget insisted that the baby swing be put back up because they were sure Chloe would love it, sure enough, she adored it. She is now crawling pretty proficiently and will pull herself up to a standing position. She likes to say: Mamama... Come on how cute is that, ok depends on how loud she is yelling it, ha/ha.

She is Crawling

Hear Ye Hear Ye, The Little Lady is on the move. She is now crawling. All this week she has been taking one or two steps but today at a play group she charged a little boy who was crawling at her at a high rate of speed. And then tonight 8/5/2008 I was taking a picture of her in her JTE ball cap for Joey and she began crawling at me, I was so excited I forgot to take a movie at first. So here she is in all of her wonder. Chloe began crawling at 8mnths, yeah!! This method has to be more efficient than her sliding across the room on her head.

Ride, ride, ride, tak'in a ride

Chloe taking a ride in her car, she loves to be pushed anywhere in this thing. We can go around the downstairs or the block she doesn't care, just don't stop moving, ha/ha.

Philidelphia Trip July 2008

We had a great time in Philidelphia. This picture is of Chloe and I on the Delaware. We were on a Duck Tour, it was a ton of fun. Chloe and I spent a bit of time walking in circles in parks while she took some naps and the rest of the family toured but all in all the kid did great and the big kids got to have some family time before Dylan heads off and Caitlin goes back to school. Ryan couldn't make it, he is working in Austin this summer.
Doug and Chloe playing on a bench in front of Independence Hall. You can tell the little one loves her Pops.

And this gem of a picture is of the kids in Rittenden Park, come on how cute are they?

Chloe meets both of her Great Grandmas

The first photo is of Chloe and her Great Grandma Grimm. This past weekend we had the opportunity to take Chloe to visit with her Great Grandma Grimm in New Jersey. I will post more pictures of the weekend. Chloe, Dylan, Doug and I went to Philidelphia for the weekend and met Caitlin there, it was great fun and our last chance to have an outing before Dylan leaves for the year.
The Second photo is of Chloe, myself (funny how I am never holding Chloe in the pics, ha/ha), Chloe's Avisa Ava (Great Grandma - Portuguese, although spelling might be off), and Staci holding Chloe. We were at my cousin Todd's wedding in Oregon, it was absolutely beautiful and great fun to see the family. Chloe was quite the trooper.

Red, White and Blue Race

Same race, you tell me who is doing better, ha/ha. I honestly didn't know that there were even hills in Texas but they must have all been collocated on this one 5K course. I am telling you my legs were killing me. Pay no attention to that 8yr old right behind me, I am sure he is a really fast runner, ha/ha.

Chloe and her Grams and Gramps

Chloe with her Grams and Gramps. We all got to go to Albuquerque this June and the great part was that my sister and her family were there too. So all of the families got together and the cousins got to play and I am sure my mom would say that the best part was she got to play with all of her grandkids at the same time. A good time was had by all. We (Chloe and I) will head to VT to see Reyna and her crew again in August. I know I know, I go there every other month, but it is so much fun and her kids are so wonderful with Chloe, it is such a treat. Not to mention my sister is awesome with kids so I get some great help with Chloe.

Uncle Joey and Aunt Nga, loving on their neice

Uncle Joey and Aunt Nga with Chloe. Joey was teaching the little lady how to swim and Aunt Nga was just giving her some love and attention. We had a great time in Albuquerque, as you can see from all of the pictures.

Greenbeans

Holy Cow this took forever to get on here. Hope you can watch it. So this is the daily game of eating we play, ha/ha. She is a fast one as you can see. Clearly got her Dad's skills, thank goodness, ha/ha.

Chloe's Site

We (Doug and I) have been looking for ways to share family photos and what not, so here goes another try. Let us know what you think. Remember everyone can see what you post on this site.
